- Forestry and poultry are eastern Maryland's biggest industries. In December 2000, IGS edited and produced an innovative study for the Association of Forest Industries. Using the results of survey polling and extensive soil testing on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, the report demonstrated the efficacy of using chicken litter as a fertilizer for pine stands. - In September 2002, IGS produced the Greater Baltimore HIV Health Services Planning Council's triennial comprehensive plan for HIV-related service delivery in the Baltimore metropolitan area. The result of hours of work by the council and by IGS alike, this detailed and illustrated 100-page study can be read by clicking here.
- December 2002 saw IGS's production of the Baltimore planning council's annual report. The 40-member council annually determines expenditure categories and allocations for metropolitan Baltimore's federal Ryan White CARE Act, Title I funding. To review the annual report, click here.
- Over the spring and early summer of 2003, InterGroup Services, under a contract from the Baltimore City Health Department, produced a study on the service needs of HIV-positive recipients of buddy/companion services. To read the report, please click here.
- In September 2003, IGS produced for Associated Black Charities a comprehensive report on the needs of deaf and hard-of-hearing people with HIV in the Baltimore area. The report, prepared at the behest of the Greater Baltimore HIV Health Services Planning Council, is one of very few such reports in the U.S. To view the report, click here.

- In December 2003, IGS produced the 2003 planning council annual report. To view the report, click here.
- After extensive research, in November 2004 IGS published the planning council's 2003 Needs Assessment Compendium, a report detailing the results of a series of mini needs assessments undertaken in 2003 into the needs of various categories of HIV service consumers. To see the report, click here.
- December 2004 saw the publishing of IGS's third annual report for the planning council. You may review it by clicking here.
- In 2004, under the guidance of the Baltimore HIV planning council, IGS designed and carried out one of the largest face-to-face HIV consumer needs-assessment survey projects in the nation. Over 600 people living with HIV/AIDS were interviewed to determine what their health care and services needs are and what barriers prevent them from receiving those services. - In April 2005, after a year in the making, the Baltimore County Local Management Board released its second IGS-researched, in-depth study of child well-being in the county. This report focused on very young children and may be read by clicking here.
- In September 2005, IGS released a long-anticipated study conducted for the Baltimore HIV planning council. The groundbreaking study analyzed providers service utilization reports to assess inter-jurisdictional use of HIV services by consumers. To review this report, click here.
- In October, IGS released the last of three major 2005 studies for the Baltimore planning council. Among other crucial findings, the survey revealed an average delay of 2.5 years between HIV-infected people's receiving a positive test result and their getting into regular medical care. - In December 2005, IGS published its second HIV comprehensive plan for the Baltimore planning council. The 182-page roadmap for HIV services can be found here.
- Spring 2006 saw IGS's completion of a groundbreaking analysis of the impact of the new Medicare Part D regulations on people living with HIV/AIDS in greater Baltimore. The report can be viewed here.
- In early summer 2006, IGS completed a comprehensive community assessment of the health, social-services and public-safety needs of children, youth and families in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Conducted for the Prince George’s County Commission for Children, Youth and Families, the 116-page report can be viewed here.
- In July 2006, IGS completed for the Prince George's County Commission for Children, Youth and Families a young people's reproductive-health survey. This county first-of-a-kind report and sex survey explored findings from a questionnaire administered by IGS to 400 county students and detailed the respondents' sexual practices and their reproductive-health knowledge. - August 2007 saw IGS's release of another large-scale project for the Baltimore HIV planning council. This time, the subject matter was engaging PLWH/As in health care, a review of best practices nationwide. The report may be viewed by clicking here.
- Months of hard work resulted in the December 2007 release of the Baltimore HIV planning council’s 2007 HIV services consumer survey.
Distilled from in-depth, face-to-face interviews with 745 HIV-service consumers in metropolitan Baltimore, the report is largest study to
date of its kind of the needs of Ryan White program Part A clients. The study can be viewed here.
- In April 2008, after two years of research and planning, Franklin Square Hospital Center, on behalf of the Baltimore County Southeast Area Network, published a detailed, 122-page needs assessment and action plan for the southeastern part of Baltimore County. The report, researched and written by IGS, may be viewed here.
- September 2008 saw IGS's completion of a sequel to an earlier project for the Prince George's County Commission for Children, Youth and Families. Having produced a comprehensive countywide needs assessment for the CCYF in 2006, IGS completely updated the material in 2008. The resulting study can be viewed here.
- In summer 2008, IGS staff took over all aspects of the management of the web site of Roland Park, Baltimore’s premier residential neighborhood. To visit the Roland Park site, see www.rolandpark.org.
- December 2008 saw the release of a
three-year comprehensive plan for HIV-related service delivery in the Baltimore metropolitan area

- The Baltimore County Local Management Board in June 2009 published its
third IGS-researched child and youth county-wide needs assessment,
titled Focus on the First Years: Update and Evaluation, 2009. This
